About the course:

Legal Analysis of Lease Transactions is a full-day in-class course designed to familiarize commercial real estate professionals and other attendees with major legal issues surrounding a CRE lease transaction. You will gain a greater knowledge of the many technical aspects of a lease, the interests of the landlord and the tenant, and a sound understanding of the practical post-lease documentation and obligations of which both landlords and tenants must be aware.

Laptop Required: Participants are responsible for bringing a laptop to the classroom. Downloadable course materials will be provided in advance.

If You Need to Cancel

• Cancellations must be submitted in writing to events@torontonaiop.org

• Refund requests must be received 14 business days prior to the course

• Cancellations received at least 14 business days prior to the course will receive a full refund, less any applicable administrative fees

• Cancellations received after this period may not be eligible for a refund

• No refunds will be issued for non-attendance

If you must cancel, you may inquire about the no-charge option to defer participation to the next CREST course cycle (subject to availability).

Transfer Policy

If you are unable to attend, you may request to:

• Transfer your registration to another individual, or

• Transfer to a future CREST course (subject to availability)

Transfer requests must be submitted in advance of the course date.

If NAIOP Toronto Adjusts the Course

Should NAIOP Toronto need to reschedule or modify the course date:

• Registrants will be notified promptly

• You may choose to:

  • Transfer to the new date, or

  • Receive a full refund if the revised date does not work for you
